BC PG Olivier Hanlan named ACC co-Rookie of Week

Boston College freshman point guard Olivier Hanlan was named ACC co-Rookie of the Week on Monday. He shares the award with Florida State swingman Aaron Thomas.

In BC’s lone game of the week on Saturday, Hanlan recorded his first double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds in a 71-68 victory over Providence. Hanlan, who played all 40 minutes in the game, ranks second among AC freshman and 19th overall with 12.8 points per game.
