BC 2012 football schedule finalized

The ACC formally announced football schedules for the league’s teams on Monday. Boston College opens the season on Sept. 1 when it hosts Miami, and the Eagles have nonleague games against Notre Dame, Northwestern, Army and Maine.

Eight BC opponents participated in bowl games this past season, and three ended the season in the final Associated Press rankings and USA Today coaches poll: Virginia Tech (21/17), Clemson (22/22) and Florida State (23/23).
